Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy supporting senior leaders? If so, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Personal Assistant to support Director/Deputy Director within the National FCRM Directorate. You’ll play a vital role in supporting strategic delivery at the heart of our organisation.  

You will: 

  • Manage the diary, arrange travel / accommodation and coordinate meetings. 
  • Support inbox management - monitor and prioritise emails, flag urgent items, and draft responses where appropriate for internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Support administrative duties including expenses, SOP and MyLeave.  
  •  Collate agendas, briefing papers, and presentations for meetings. Record and distribute meeting notes and action points. 
  • Maintain and organise files and records including SharePoint.  
  • Assist with purchase orders and managing expenses.  
  • Support planning and logistics for workshops, conferences, or team events.

The Team:

The FCRM directorate’s vision is for flood and coastal risk management is a nation that is ready for and resilient to flooding and coastal erosion - today, tomorrow, and all the way to 2100 

You will be managed by the Executive Coordination Manager under the Director, whilst working directly with the Director/Deputy Director.  

You’ll join a strong PA network and have opportunities for professional development. 

Experience/Skills Required:
We’re looking for someone highly organised, digitally confident and a confident communicator who can build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You’ll need to be adaptable, calm under pressure, and able to manage competing priorities effectively.
