This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, engaging, and motivated individual who wants to make a meaningful contribution to strengthening organisational resilience across the Environment Agency. Knowledge of business continuity and Organisational Resilience would be advantageous for this role.
You will:

You will be part of the Organisational Resilience Team. We’re a national team within Strategy, Transformation & Assurance.
You’ll work with people across the business, supporting business continuity and organisational resilience activities.
We’re a very welcoming team that manages a diverse range of work. We work closely with Defra and wider government, giving you the opportunity to gain a wide range of experience in this role.
- support the design and implementation of new processes
- maintain effective systems that provide assurance and enable smooth delivery of the team’s responsibilities
- organise, and maintain data and information to agreed standards
- manage the team mailbox by triaging and escalating queries, tracking responses and ensuring timely follow-up
- arrange and coordinate meetings, events, training sessions, and exercises
- engage professionally with internal and external stakeholders to support the teams work
- draft clear correspondence, respond to enquiries, and capture accurate, concise meeting notes
- provide administrative and secretariat support across the team
- support the production of training materials, briefing packs, management information, communications, and reports
As part of a national team the location is flexible. You may be required to work in Environment Agency offices and attend national meetings, with some overnight stays.
Everyone that joins us is required to undertake training and participate in incident response duties when needed.
